I belonged to middle class family,
I had no huge wealth to spend on you,
In a dark world you shoved me
Why did you betray me?

When I saw you with other guy in college,
In pangs, I wept at every night,
You & I fell in love at 1st sight,
You got a rich guy & forgot me,
Why did you betray me?

Therapist said that I had clinical depression,
Darkness & grief always flowed before my eyes even in daylight,
You didn't do right with me,
Why did you betray me?

I started to get hallucinations,
Clinical depression turned into psychotic depression,
You seized  my happiness from me,
Why did you betray me?

You broke my heart into millions of pieces,
For years, I couldn't pick that detritus up,
I mashed you from bottom of my heart but you befooled me,
Why did you betray me?

When in your whatsapp, I saw pics of a unknown guy,
I asked you who that lad was,
But you distracted me by kissing me,
Why did you betray me?

I dreamt many nightmares after you forgoed me,
Now,I'm totally recovered from severe wounds,
That 2 years ago, you had given me,
Why did you betray me?
