colourful bulbs. Children wear new clothes and eat sweets.
EID-UL-FITR
Another important festival is Eid-ul-Fitr. We celebrate it at the end of
Ramazan. Ramazan is a pious month of Islamic calendar. It is a month of fasting
and prayers.
We wear new clothes and eat sewai and
other sweets on this day.
CHRISTMAS
Christmas is a festival of joy. People celebrate it on the 25th December
every year. Jesus Christ was born on this day. People decorate churches with
lights. They sing carols. They light candles at churches. People believe that
Santa Claus visits the houses of devotees on this day and gives sweets to
children.
